? if johnson 9.5 HP MO or MQ-12A has a water pump?

I am not seeing anywhere for water to eject from on hood of motor?
please help Son is pumped to try out but I do not want to cause harm to motor as I saw no water coming out with the hose attachment connected.

You can not run that motor on a regular hose attachment !!!---------The water pump is located above the lower unit.----------You remove the 4 screws and seperate the lower unit.----------The shift connecter then becomes visible.---You must REMOVE one screws to drop the lower unit.------------This motor needs a new impeller now.

Most BRP / Evinrude dealers would have that item in stock.----Impeller is straight forward " nuts and bolts " type work.--You must run that motor with water level 6" above the pump !
