ignition cut out cold?

i have a 3 cyl.50hp mercury that will only run on 2 cyl. when cold.... i have changed the plugs,wires and coil on that cyl. and still when cold i have no spark to that cyl.when it runs about 5 min. it will fire on that cyl.now what where do i go from here?<br />thanks don

Now Are you sure it is the fact of going from COLD to HOT or Maybe from Non-conected TO conected<br />Check all wires for power, Make sure everything is conected. If you have NEW compoents (coil,wires) try them on another cyl. to make sure the parts you got do work proper.<br />problems like these can sometimes be a pain.<br /><br />Because Vibrations/bad conections /bad switch's<br />Will sometimes work after beating around for a min on open water. and then just as fast stop working again
