I have a 1988 seaswirl with a 1988 350 5.7 litre engin in it. It has a e-spark ignition module pn 6100m which requires a ballast resistor which is not installed. I have no idea what wire (color) to cut and install the resistor on. It should be between the ignition switch and the positive side of the coil. Have attached the iring diagrams for the engine and ignition. I was assuming it would be the red and purple wire (or red and purple). Can some one confirm before i start chopping away.
