Took my boat out for a ride last sunday and some water skiing and when i turned of the engine to change waterskiers she didn't start again. I have cheked for spark on all four plugs all negative i also folowed the power back through the coils and what i call the junction box for the coils it has the different cylinder #'s marked on it with wires comming from the stator.<br />I am not sure but i think it's the stator that may have gone on use since thier is no power going to the coils at all or to the junction box and the stator is not generating any power at least to my knowledge but it is recieving enough voltage from the battery. Another question when cranking the engine the stator should be magnetic right well mine isn't not sure if it's normal Any help on the matter would be helpfull. Anoth thing to mention is that the ride we took that day to go waterskiing was alot longer than the boat is used to on normal days,could this have anything to do with the stator.<br /><br />Thanks in advance.
