Ignition Switch box questions

I have a 1989 Force 50 HP. Im gettin spark to one plug and not the other. I took coils off and switched the wires going into the switch box and then im gettin spark on the other plug. does that mean my switch box is bad or is it something else. i would hate to spend that much money on a switch box and that not be it.

correction i have alot of spark on one side but just a very little bit of spark on other.
