My daughter turned ignition switch off and kept turning the key thinking it was supposed to turn the power off to. Now it won't crank at all and no power to anything. Batteries are great. Went back to replace ignition switch a few hours later and the radio was on as well as lights but as soon as I turned the key over it cut all power again. Any suggestions? Thinking loose connection some where?

Lakelife, welcome to iBoats. When you say power returned a few hours later, that was before you replaced the switch? You say batteries, do you have a dual battery setup? A battery switch, if so, what position is it in. When you turned the key over, what exactly is that, are you just putting it in the ON position or trying to start?
I am thinking loose / corroded connections, bad battery, bad key switch, could be many things.
Lets start with the basics: How old is your boat. What kind? What kind of motor and year. We need many more details on your setup to proceed. Do you have a voltmeter / DVM, I think you will need it to diagnose what is happening.
