I have a 1989 Sea Ray with a 1989, 100 hp Mercury O/B.
I recently replaced the ignition switch. The old switch was for a Omc motor. I replaced it with a switch for Mercury engines.
Now my instrument gauges, fuel, depth finder and temperature gauges don't work. My speedo and tach are fine. I thought I hooked it up to the same I.D. numbers. From the B on the switch a wire goes to the gauges, should these go to a different letter? The switch has off, on and start with push in choke. It has letters A,M,B,M,I,S,A, going clockwise and C in the center. If no suggestions is there any other way to hook up the gauges.
Thanks.

Re: Ignition switch

You need a switch with 6 termials. You may have a sterndrive switch. B is battery
