It depends on your boat.

How thick is your dash?
How many poles does your current Ignition switch?
Do you have Acc-Off-On-Start or Off-On-Start?
The Brass marine Ignition swtich have drain holes - Does the Auto Zone switch have drain Holes?

The dash is not very thick. I have already taken out old ignition switch. Current ignition switch has three poles and is off-on-start. The one at autozone also has three poles. Don't know about the drain holes.

It should work if it's in a dry location
