It would be probably best to look at a manual for your motor -- by Seloc or Clymer. In the index, look under "synchronizing" if you can not find "timing." You can do it either "static" timing by using your starter to spin your motor or you can use the "dynamic" variety, when you have the boat securely tied up by a dock or hanging into the water from a trailer and run it at full speed. Or using the SEARCH feature may give you the info you need.
