ignition tune-up PM schedule

I have a 1975 Evinrude short shaft Electric start. I have noticed the ignition coils which are on the powerhead block have cracked. I'm in the process of replacing them. My question is; How often should I pull the flywheel and replace the points, capacitor and pickup coils? I have run the boat 3 seasons without any real trouble. It is however a 1975 and the age of the flywheel components are unknown. Also does anyone know the weight of this model.

So Sorry I thought I had that covered, 25 horse power two cylinder, electric start 1975 model year. <br /><br />The model number escapes me (5535-25*?)
