Ignition wires

I have an 86 Sunbird with a Mercruiser 140 I4 engine. Does anyone know what I can use for ignition wires besides OEM. One of our local marinas, does not carry them but said I should just go to Napa and ask for standard wires for something like a Chevy Nova. I could not find any Chevy's that had a 3.0 4 cylinder engine.

Any assistance would be helpful. I just replaced the distributor and am hoping to get it running for this weekend.

One thing I'm learning about boats is that OEM is best route to go! Anything else is a compromise - may work; may not

Napa sells marine, you don't have to ask for a Chevy Nova set, ask for a Mercruiser 140 set.

The Sierra# is 18-8800-1

The Mallory# is 9-28020

Why would you want to? Get em here: http://www.mercruiserparts.com/selectDocs.asp?doc_nbr=41261 Either conventional or digital. That will come to about $4.50 a year.
