It seems that the California House and Senate OK'd the issuance of drivers licences for illegal aliens.<br /><br />The Governor-Gray Davis, is expected to sign it, of course, before his recall. Hmmm, could he fishing for votes??<br /><br />What te HELL is going on here????

If this is true so help me. We have one gov agency that is trying to find them and another that says lets give them privliges while there here I don't get it.<br /><br />As for the votes dont you need to be a citizen?

It's no joke about the illegal aliens being able to get a drivers license her in Calipornia. It is just another way the socialist demorats can buy new voters and now especially with the "motor voter" registration. The way is and has been for quite a while is as follows. As soon as you cross the border, unlawfully, illegal is a sick bird, you are handed a large fluffy towel, given a MediCal card, a medical checkup, a welfare check and food stamps. <br />The legals actually have more benefits that us poor stiffs who have paid taxes for over 40 years. Those are only one of Calipornia's special interest groups.<br /><br />This next one you won't believe, but it's 100% true. In San Francisco, a "Tinkerbell" who wants to become a woman, can get a grant from the city up to $50,000 for a sex change. A "Butch" broad can get a grant up to $70,000 to become a male. (more work) Guess who pays for all this??? The taxpayers in the city of San Francisco. Is that sad or what. <br />That's why I call San Francisco the granola city. The state assembly has less of an approval rateing then the Governor. Thier approval rateing is 20%. Pretty pathetic. They're digging the hole deeper, I love it!<br /><br />I'm thinking if it's OK for an illegal to have a drivers licence, then he can continue being illegal by driving with no insurance.<br />Might as well give him diplomatic immunity while were at it.

when I lived in CA, it was not required to show<br />proof of insurance to register a vehicle and there<br />were tons of folks driving with no insurance...<br />has anything changed since I got smart and got out???

They started that same stuff here in tenn two years ago. The gov then signed in a bill that said if they were illegal they could go to any hosp to seek medical help and the state would have to pay for it.<br />

Mother nature already gave us a head start with the Colorado River running through there. <br /><br />Here in AZ, it is estimated that 40% of the vehicles on the road are not insured.<br /><br />I guess that's why my insurance is $1,800.00/year-with a spotless record.

Gray Davis is scrambling to generate revenue any way he can. If were not for alien immigration (legal or illegal, California would probably be losing population.<br /><br />I got out in 1995 and while I miss some of the natural wonders and conveniences of California, I do not miss DMV renewals, clogged highways, state income tax, discrimination against hard working white guys, etc.<br /><br />God Bless Texas!

I have been trying to leave Calipornia for the last three years, but my wife isn't ready to leave yet. I wanted to bail out of this wakko state while the dot com $$$$$ people were over bidding big time on luxury and upper scale properties. By not selling when I wanted to, my wife's stalling has cost me several hunderd thousand dollars in the selling price of my main residence.<br /><br />I don't live in SF, but 25 miles south of there, in a town of about 5800 people.<br />I only go to SF for the GIANTS games and that is only a few times a season.<br />SF use to be a fairly decent place to go, about 30 years ago. <br /><br />I did go up to SF with my youngest son a couple of weeks ago, as he had some business there that lasted less than one hour. It cost $8.00 to park there for one hour, downtown. It was $2.00 for each 15 minutes for the first hour or two and $30.00 maxium per day. This is another reason to stay out of "Sashay City" <br /> <br />This report of violence probably didn't reach your local news provider a couple of days ago.
