Made up some pepperoni rolls....some plain, some with seasoning salts....<br /><br />Anybody got any suggestions about what to put in them besides pepperoni and mozarel...mooozarell....you know...that white cheese I can't spell the name of?<br /><br />I'm pretty flexible in the kitchen so all suggestions ARE welcome.

Try some cooked sausage,peppers,and cheese. AKA sausage rolls. Or maybe some ham and cheese. The pepperoni sounds good to me!

If it were baking and not cooking, then your joke may make sense to me heycods. :) <br /><br /><br />OBJ- Me and my dad expiriment with cooking all the time. He was off of work for 6months and watched Food Network all day, plus he went to school to be a chef for 4 years......needless to say we spend a lot of time in there :D <br /><br />This may seem OFF THE WALL, but if it were me I would try the sausage as has been suggested, but maybe pineapple, ham and mozzerella......or add onions and pepperchini's or something to what you have now. Maybe I am just odd, but I love pineapple with ham in a pizza like setting.

I do like the sausage idea PONY. Lot's you can do with it....Hot Sausage rolls, mild rolls....maybe even throw in a few pieces of stewed tomatoes. <br /><br />I seem to be spending more time in the kitchen since I retired last January.....I'm always axing Mom for ways to cook stuff....seems Moms have their own touch..... :)<br /><br />Originally posted by heycods:<br /><br />

Make sure you are using real mozz.<br />For grocery store varieties, I prefer Sargento Chef Style or Chef Blend Mozz/Provalone.<br /><br />Stay away from anything labeled "KRAFT", as most of the good stuff has been taken out of it.<br /><br />We use Kraft cheeses at work, and on products that are being shipped to Canada, we have to relabel everything because Kraft has recycled and processed theire mozz to the point that the Canadien gov't conciders it to be a spread, not a real cheese.<br /><br />We also no longer put the "REAL Cheese Seal" on our product labels. Hmmmm, makes you wonder.

Thanks roscoe....I'll keep that in mind. Maybe that's why the ones I made today are kinda "blah". I used Kraft mozz in the resealable bag. Next time I'll try and get one the brands you suggested.<br /><br />Thanks again.
