Re: I'm different

Tylerin,
I had such a deep interest and concern over this game (especially the halftime show) that I didn't even watch it. ;)
I know...I know... how un-American of me to not watch the Superbowl. But my team (49ers) weren't in it. And even if they were, the Northern CA boat show a mere 2 hours drive away is just too compelling. :D
From what everyone has told me I'm so shocked I just have to see the evidence for myself. :D

slow time on major media

--Jacksons as well as MTV stunt (slob rock and nelly grabbing self) receiving lots of attention--

--just as was intended.

Old goats played into mtv hands by giving them rights to produce half time show.

That show was targeted at young punk crowd for enjoyment and targeted at rest of us as a slap in the face shock type disrespect. Least thats how a 45 year old poop like me views that "half time" performance.

To tylerin--thanks for this post regarding the other view--you may find what you will acceptable and live with the results of your decisions--peace bro

I don't think your opp. is diffren't from the majority of americans and thats why these types of behaviors will continue and get [worst in my opp.] or better in your opp. Sad and disgusting that "we" have let the media rob most children of their innocence.

Only thing that offended me about the stupid-bowl is that 60 minutes was'nt on at it's regular time...

I did'nt watch the thing.. Went fishing instead.. Nobody out.. Had the entire Atlantic ocean to myself..(well, most of it anyway) :p

Bull&*(&!! Kid rock knows its disrespectful to wear a flag, he just doesn't care. Just like the two idiots didn't care if kids saw her bare her breast.

Kid rock is the last person I would look to for patriotism. He's an idiot. He was doing it for publicity. I hope his career ends soon.

I don't think so Waterinthefuel. He obviously knew that it is disrespectful to let the flag touch the ground, he handed it to one of the stage managers. Did anyone cry foul when Jim Craig was draped in the flag after winning the gold medal in 1980 with the hockey team, nope. I am not a big fan of KR, but I don't think he was trying to advance his career by wearing the flag. I think it was just his misguided interpretation of patriotism.
