No, it did not come with a motor or a trailer.<br /><br />The trailer in the pict belongs to my Whaler.<br /><br />I have a 1987 8hp Mercury that I have had no use for. I got this boat thinking I'd but that motor on it. But I now think that the boat would be a bit underpowered with only a 8.<br /><br />I plan on rigging steering on it and doing a little fiberglass work on the keel.<br /><br />To be honest the boat looks better in the two pictures then it really is, I think my camra lies

That is a really cool looking boat.<br />I would not sell it.<br />Five years from now, and for the rest of your life, you are going to wish you kept it.<br /><br />Is that a glass windshield? or Plastic?

We had a boat a lot like that circa 1960.<br /> It was a kit boat built by the local marina.<br /> It was a very flat V all the way to the transom.<br /> Had a front deck,split center deck and stern deck with motor well.<br /> It was 15 ft and over 6 feet wide.My guess fairly heavy for its size.<br />We ran an 18 Evinrude on it,tiller steer I sat on the deck next to the motor.It was hard to keep the<br />bow up but with 2 of us in the stern it would do 27. The max rated speed for a stock 18.I once got it to do 25 with 5 relatively light people in it.<br /> Would you deliver that little gem to central NY.

Update:<br />I used this little boat once twice this year. I put it in a small pond to make sure it would float, then I put it in the mistic river with the 8hp Mercury a few weeks ago. It ran good, much better then I thought it was going to. It pushed the boat about 18mph.<br /><br />Can anyone tell me what this boat may be worth?

Ryan, go to (fiberglassics.com) and if anyone can help you with the info you need,they can.This site specializes in boats of that era. By the way,that's a sharp looking little boat!
