My Mom just called. Seems my 36 year old eldest son who lives in Columbus, Ohio is going to be a dad for the first time. Course he couldn't get through to me cause she herself is a'yakkin on the land line. Guys, I can't tell you all how tickled I am about this. Dawn is pure Chinese. She came from China and got her degree here in the states. Geez. I'm just mushed out. I want to cry. I don't know what to do. This will be number 7 for me. Wish I could type my feelings right now. WOW!!!!!!

Congradulations to you and your son. It is hard to explain how I felt when my daughter was born. I would not trade her for anything in the world. Please give him my regards.

Congrats OBJ.<br /><br />I too am gona be a pa-paw for the 6th time in November.<br /><br />So far 2 girls and 3 boys.<br /><br />One of the good things about grandkids is that you can give them back when your done playing with them.

Your right JB. The thrill never goes away. Little after 8 in the morning and I'm still bubbly if that's the right word. Going to call him today. Wonder what it's going to be? No matter. Just as long as he/she comes out screaming! WOW! Finally! A child from the first born! Think I go outside and holler.

Great news to hear OB Jim! 6 of my grandkids were boys up until a year ago, now my stepdaughter and adopted daughter have girls. Now that is 8, but thats not enough yet. I still got a teen son that will be a dad soon enough.<br /><br />I just like the thought that you can send them home when grandpaw has had his loving for the day. <br /><br />I will be glad when they are big enough to stock my wood pile for me. So I know a couple of them will be pilots. A couple will cut it and the others will pile it!
