Ayuh,..... Through the amazin' twists, 'n turns of life, I guess even long term Plans change,....

I thought for Sure, that when I bought my lake house in '05, I bought the place where I would someday, die,.....
I was wrong,......
I'm movin' again,......
The progressive capital of the planet, king coumo's kingdom, formerly known as NYS has finally beaten me into submission,.....
I Quit,.....

I'm movin' back Home,...... to Milford Maine,.......

I was gonna retire, 'n live at the ole family lodge on the east shore of Chemo pond,.....
maybe a couple months at the sister's place in town, in the dead of winter,....
After runnin' into a childhood friend last Sunday, who I'd hoped might offer me part time work hangin' out in his construction shop, to keep "busy",.....
My ole bud, Mike, has very different plans,.....
I'm startin' a new career,.....
He wants Me, to be the 4th wheel, runnin' his 10 mil a year construction company,.........
He wants me to run his 9 quarries in Greenfield Maine,.....
My head is still spinnin',.....
A decent pay package, a super bennies package, 'n a house, pickup, 'n 40'x 60' shop,....
til death do us part,.......

I'm headed back over this weekend to get more details,.....
What was gonna be a move in the spring, will probably happen in a few weeks instead,.....

Gonna be livin' in Greenfield,...... Right on the edge of the Big Woods,....
Nothin' but big woods pretty much all the way to Canadah,......

Life sure has a habit of throwing us curves. We also thought we would be living on our Lake Erie lakeside property until the meat wagon took us away. Nope, we are moving too. ASAP. I don't know if we can take 1 more winter here. Bones have a tendency to freeze faster as one ages. Once we downsize we can travel south or to southern Europe for the winter months. Or both. Taxes and rural services are killing us here.

Ya,..... So I thought,...... I admit though, I'd rather start another career than retire,......

I'd just been tellin' my sis, that retirement scared me more than anything, as I see it as the beginin' of the end,.....
A whole new beginin' is much better, 'n has me jumpin' for joy,.....

Startin' next summer, if you get over to Booth Bay, call me, 'n I'll meet ya at the town dock,.....
I'll be in my Old Town Atlantis,......
