Hi,<br />First time hear,it looks like a real nice site,first I just want to say thanks to the moderators for all there volunteer help,we appreciate it.<br /><br />I just bought a 6hp Johnson and the plate is missing for the Model # & Serial #.<br />I'm guessing it is around a 70 year.<br />I did find this number on a small silver cover (about the size of a quarter) under the cowl,<br />J3553671.<br />Does anyone know the year??<br />The only other numbers under the cowl were part numbers,I will write them down and get those on here if it will help.<br />Thanks again,<br />Tony
