Re: i'm so sorry for you yankees- lol
It is starting to heat up here, just as it does every year about this time. I try to have all outdoor repairs done to my home, and all major repairs done to everything else outside.
You fellers up in the great white north are familiar with winterizing your boats...I have never performed this ritual to my vessels ever.
However, last Saturday, I finished "summerizing" my 12 alum for the summer. It's going to get too hot for bass fishing in the breezless oxbows of the River, and the skeeters would eat me allve if I attempted such foolishness. It's motor has been fogged down, and it's little 3gallon gas tank has been drained, cleaned, and dried.
The tiny tires are up on blocks to keep them round and free from dry rot.
She has been covered from bow to transom with plastic.

My big boat gets to stay un-sumerized until I get a chance to take it out one last time to burn-off the reamaining fuel, then, it too, shall be put to bed until October or November of next year. Y'all just have fun up there in God's country. I'll just crank the A/C up, get online between thunderstorms, and dream.
I don't know who it was who coined the phrase, "Be carefull what you wish for, you may just get it".
But I'm pretty confident he built Bayliners, and moved down to Florida when he retired.
