Impeller removal tool for '56 Merc Mark 25E????????

I have a '56 Merc Mark 25E, I need to change the impeller but alas these (insert choice words) engineers have decided to require a special tool to remove the impeller cover. I have tried 7 different marina's including Grubb's ( great place, (this impeller issue not withstanding), to no avail, no one seems to have this tool...I even have the part number....91-24162. any ideas, hints, tips, tricks, someone maybe actually having this tool?

Hi salty<br />You will have to fabricate your own tool. Check around to see if you can get a new cover. If you can do so. Quite often even with a good tool these parts are corroded together. The only way to remove them is to carefully chizel them out. This destroys the cover. If you do get yours' apart be sure an use anti- corrosion greese upon assembly.
