Impeller Service Fees

What would be an appropriate charge to have someone drive to immediately drive to my house (one hour away) and to replace my impeller in my boat.

Ayuh,... I would Guess somewhere between $100. and $1000....

Cheapest labor rates around here are running $70/hour.

Since you didn't say what kind of drive:

One hour to get there.
One hour minimum (could be more) to drop lower, replace impeller, re-mount lower.
One hour back.

3 hours labor @$70/hour plus $50 in parts MINIMUM = $260

That's assuming nothing else is wrong once he gets there.

ANY site job will take at least 2 trips for either parts or different tools. Just no way in ell of of knowing or guessing what sort of things could go wrong. And yes, you would be paying for both trips.
