Impeller upgrade kit, Bravo3

Folks, I bought the 98 and newer, impeller upgrade kit.<br />Everything looks fine, but it didn't have any instructions.<br />Its all pretty straight forward, except the 1 1/4" O-ring<br />that is in the package with the new bolts. there is a groove in the housing where it contacts the plate for the oring I think that ones bigger than 1 1/4" though.there is a smallerone that goes behind the plate.

Its not the one in the groove in the housing. That one is installed and just to kind of get our berings, I'd say that one was a 2 1/2 to 3" diameter. So it sounds like the small one you are<br />talking about. You said it goes "behind the plate". I'm using the new upgrade kit. Since I didn't see anything obvious, should I look harder, and I should see the location it gets installed? or is it not applicable when doing the upgrade?<br />(I'm not at the boat, and I left the assembly out there, so I'm trying to be as accurate as possible, so if you feel like being more descriptive, that would help.)<br />Thanks, <br />D.
