We pull a gooseneck trailer, right now I have a long pigtail going to the wire connector for the receiver in the back, pop the tailgate up and run it underneath.

Truck came with a 6 wire round plug in the side of the bed with a hole drilled, we use 7 pin, and they truck end plugs are VERY long and won't fit in this same spot.

Has anyone seen either a low profile connector, or even a right angle? I'd like to mount in the same spot where there is already a hole.

Give Cabelas a try. If I am not mistaken, you have one near you.
