In need of a Chrysler carb

Hi, I have a 1983 90hp Chrysler outboard. During winterizing, the main jet broke while draining the fuel out. I have searched hi and low for just the main jet (F10162) but can't find it. Now I'm looking for an entire carb. top or bottom as they have the same jet. Those part numbers are F585061-Top and F586061-Bottom. the part(s) that I need were used on 90-125hp Chrysler outboards between the years of 1982-1984.

Re: In need of a Chrysler carb

Tillotsen is still in business making carbs for all sorts of engine applications.

I would bet that if you contacted them and gave them the carb model number plus the jet size (stamped right onto the surface of the jet) they could supply you with what you need.

Your other option is to take ANY Chrysler/Force carb with a smaller main jet and using a numbered drill sized for the opening you want, drill out that jet carefully

Hello, thanks for the welcome. The folks on this site have been super helpful in the past. I hope I didn't break any rules.. I'll admit I only skimmed them, didn't read them word for word. My apologizes

Thanks for the suggestion Frank. (BTW thanks for your contributions to this site, they have helped me tremendously!!) Thankfully I have been looking and one of my feeler's paid off. I wanted to share a couple places with the people on the site. The best places I have found for used/obsolete parts has been Marine Parts Outlet, they have 2 stores and a ton stuff. Drop them a call and they will be happy to help! New - Used Outboard Motor Parts - Marine Parts Outlet

The other places is Tims Outboard, they are also super nice. (Email is easier to get a hold of them though)
Tim's Outboard or info@timsoutboard.com
