Nope, car/truck manifolds completely different as they are aluminum and for EFI. They DID make a iron 4BBl manifold for Astros/trucks, however, it was used 85-86 only, tough to find now, and even it was totally different than the marine/industral manifolds.

Cpt Ron jc buy an edelbrock performer intake they ar available form summit racinig http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-2111/ they are only 199.95 and they will save you some weight also. You can go to their web site and check it out they are a great manifold http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc/manifolds/chevy/performer-v6.shtml. I also suggest picking up a edelbrock 1409 marine carb and the 1485 calibration kit and get some extra horsepower and easier tuneability while your at it.

If he is raw water cooled and boats in saltwater, the aluminum manifold will not be a good match.

Re: in take manifold 4.3

great, glad I could help. I used the 2114 intake ( because I have the vortec heads) and 1409 carb on mine and it worked great.
