Actually mellow,

here in NYC, all the roads are cleared and passible.

As a matter of fact, they are even dry already.

Gridlock this morning seems to be minimal.

But, where I live on Long Island, it is pretty bad.

Plus, the city only got around 14"-15", where the Island got 18"-20".

The biggest problem on LI, is the wind!

It still looked like it was snowing out this morning, but the sun was out.

Blowing and drifting snow are clogging the major arteries, and the rush hour on the LIE (I-495)must have been a nightmare.

This is one time, and one time only, that I am actually glad that I ride the LIRR to Manhattan.

I hate the LIRR!!

They don't put plows on the trains here, mellow.

All trains have a small plow in front of the main trucks of the train, but they are small and permantly attached.

They really don't do much good, but then they really don't need plows on the trains, because they use jets to clear the rails.

They have large jet aircraft engines mounted on flatbed cars, and they literally blow the snow off of the tracks, thus eliminating the need for plows.
