I have a chesapeake deadrise 37', the strut bolts are galvanized on my boat now. I believe the strut is bronz but not sure my question is what kind of bolts should I replace them with I dont want to use the galvanized but I am afraid the bronz bolts wouldnt be strong enough.

Re: inboard strut bolts

bronze should work. if not I would use stainless steel. just be aware that none last forever in saltwater. make sure your bonding wires are in good shape.<br /> good luck and keep posting
