inexpensive gearcase for 1989 xp150

trying to find out what omc cobra housing will work. my lower unit is cracked on the outside where the snap ring sits so its to thin to weld. ive tried to find the correct case but they are hard to find and expensive it seems as though the omc cobras are easier to get a hold of thanks
