I need to replace the wood floor in my 10' 1988 Achilles Inflatable boat. I am looking into using King StarBoard instead of marine grade ply because of the "durability". Now I have read that it cleans well, resists stains and salt, but cannot seem to find out how strong it is (at least comapred to plywood of the same thickness).

Does anyone know if King StarBoard would provide the strength needed to act as the floorboards for an inflatable boat?

I think Dux uses the Starboard with aluminum stringers in their boats. They use their boats for racing, and hang very lagre engines on the back of theirs. Go to buxboats.com and cheak it out.
