As i was stripping the interior out of my boat, i ran across a decal that was riveted to one of the panels. It says "197 I/O" What does that mean?

I'll guess it's a model number because the 1978 brochure from Sea Ray has a SRV 197 listed - http://www.searay.com/boat_graphics/...DERNIWH255.jpg
