I have a 1985, 115 inline Mariner, and was wondering how big a job it is to tighten up/replace the engine mounts?

I have a manual, but can not find anything in there on it.
Are they called a specific name besides engine mounts?
Thanks in advance.

They are loose as in moving motor to and fro.

Thinking maybe it is causing my chin walk problem at speed.

assume u mean motor is movin on the mount, not
mount movin on transom...a new one on me SBN.
a blow-up of the assembly would sure help...
maybe somone has one here? gonna look myself.
don't lead foot 4 a while :p

Right MY, it's moving on mount and not on transom.

Had the same problem on my 1987 75hp mariner. Had to replace pivot bearings on outside of shaft just below powerhead. couple hundred bucks at dealer

Thanks Rich.
Do you know what they had to do to get to them?
Did they have to remove the power head or do you know?
