inside gunnel trim for starcraft availability

I have a 190 sfm with carpeted gunnels. there is no trim on the inside of the gunnel like the older starcraft has. does anyone know of a suplier for this trim or something clost to it. I am planning to replace the carpet with vinyl and don't wan't to have to deal with the edge wear like the carpet did.

for lack of a better example, I stole a pic from ez's restore thread. I'm looking for inside gunnel trim like this.

I used aluminum from homedepot on my jet... might work?

To get an idea

If not there are windshield trim pieces you can get from a local auto parts store.
They are pretty much "C" shaped and chrome
