Folks any idea as to how to get a new rubber coupling to fit into a new exhaust riser. Engine is 5.0gi Penta. I tried silicone spray, soaking in hot water and even dish detergent and nothing. For the sake of reason i also measure it against my old one and they are both 4 inches. This is has turned into a cursing match. Any ideas?
