I have a 93 Sea Nymph 161 FM - I was hoping to install a fold down ladder on the transom. Some mention they are for transoms with less than a 12 degree angle. Mine is about 15 degrees. Anyone have any experience/success with these, or suggestions on what kind to install? Thanks!

I measured my transom at about 15 degrees as well. I was thinking of modifying one of the ladders in the first link to work (shortening the top legs and/or adding spacers behind the lower legs) but I ended up buying the one in the second link. It will be easier to install and require no modification because it's only got 2 attachment points. It is angled outward when in the extended/open position so that should help negate the steeper transom angle. It does seem like it'll put more torque on the transom without having the lower legs, but it got good reviews on amazon and is rated to 400lbs. I just received it last nite and haven't installed it yet.
