Any all help appreciated here. I'm pretty good with alot of outboard repair, but with this I really don't have a clue. Never owned a boat with hydraulic steering and now I'm trying to piece things together and need some assistance.

Converting a boat over to regular 150's from hydraulic steered sea-drive 140's.

I've got a sea-star helm and lines run to the transom from the original engines.. I *think* that's all I've got installed that is of any use. They are in excellent condition, I actually suspect someone replaced the lines at some point recently.

The lines at the transom are not long enough to make it to the engines (30 inch bracket), but are terminated. I think there are 4 of them. Can I add a fitting and bring them the additional 3 feet to the engines or must I replace the entire line?

What other parts will I need for a set of Envinrude 150's? Do I need two cylinders or one? Are the cylinders in the sea-drives of any use? How about a tie-bar? Where can I find one of those? New engines are mounting 28 inches apart.

Need alot of help here, basically a parts list and some tech support. Trying to figure out my best bet, I can get a decent deal on whatever teleflex part #'s I need through the shop that is building my bracket. Just don't want to buy parts I allready have and am not even sure which complete kit would do the job.

Looking at my friends grady w/ twin 250's, he's got two cylinders, but all the kits only come with one.. not sure if I need two or if one w/ a tie bar is good or (clueless here - I'm you get the point ;) )..

Thanks for any/all help!

Jon
