Greetings everyone, I hope your boating season is safe and successful. This afternoon I removed both back seats on either side of the outboard and the interior panels on both port and stbd sides with the plan to replace the wood, foam and vinyl. In the first pic the long panels are the ones in question. When I removed them it seams the panels were installed wood first, then the foam and the vinyl was replaced last but I find that hard to believe because the vinyl was stapled to the back of the wood which can't be done if the panels were already screwed into the fiberglass which is the white section above the speakers. I hope that makes sense.........

In the bottom picture with the tool box on the back to back seats you can't tell because the seat is in the way but there is an opening for storage and a cup holder, similar to the middle picture and I can reach up and screw through the fiberglass than through the wood to secure the panel but once I reach the speaker and about another 3 feet aft from there I can't reach up to secure the panel. Again, I hope that makes sense.......

Has anyone had a problem like this and how did you overcome? I'm just a little confused and I can't figure out how to complete secure the new panels to the interior side of the boat. Thanks for your time and advice.

Edit: The new panels will be just solid white vice the original red/burgundy/grey/white

Normally you would reach around the backside to fasten it. Or you would have to have a slip clip type system to hold it. Other than that you would have to screw it from the outside and put a plastic cap over the head of the screw.

Good luck.
