Hi guys, I searched around a bit, but didn't really find what I was looking for. I'm looking for some advice on a complete stereo kit for my boat. I have the universal opening on the passenger side of the boat, where it looks like a head unit can go, but I'm not sure on a proper fitting case for that spot. I haven't wired up a stereo kit since high school, so I'm a little fuzzy on it. I'm thinking I will just get an amp, speakers, head unit, and wire straight to the battery. Any help would be appreciated on a good kit with Bluetooth, 2-4 speakers and some wiring tips.

Thanks!

Depends on what your end goals are, but in that boat, I probably wouldn't put in an amp. Put in a decent head unit and 4 good speakers and call it a day.

That's a fantastic idea Slip Away! Thanks! Okay, well then what, I just pick up that head unit, and 4 speakers and wire them straight to the battery for power?

Yep, wire the HU to the battery, and make sure there is an in-line fuse. That is about it. If you do get the JBL HU, you will be really impressed.

Sweet! That's the plan. I found the complete set with speakers for it, so I'll just go that route.
