Thanks for taking a look - this forum is amazing...
Have a new basic Suzuki tach, already have the suzuki multifunction monitor installed and working well with my '98 DT85. I know that the main wires I need for the tach are gray, black, and yellow.
There were little black plugs in a gray and black junction on the harness up front, and that seems to be where I shove the gray and black quick connects for the tach. I think.
But the only place I see a yellow lead available is in a little bundle coming out the back of the throttle remote. (alongside wires that I think are for a remote tilt/trim switch, they are pink and blue).
Is that where my tach lead is supposed to come from? Do I just run a wire from there and use the black and gray female quick connects I found in the harness?
I'm kinda wishing I got that tiny tach thing, thinking about making this big hole in the dash...
Thanks!
