Installing upper shift shaft bushing on Alpha 1

I am replacing the shift cable on a Mercruiser Alpha one and I also intend on replacing the upper shift shaft bushing while in there. I have purchased the new bushing - (which comes with both the upper and lower bushings. My lower seems okay so I will probably not mess with it... unless someone notes a good reason to do so :) ) - my question has to do with the actual installation. It seems pretty straightforward - knock the old out and press the new one in. Is this pretty much all there is to it? Anything to watch out for or any hints that I ought to be aware of?

Well, just in case anyone else wants info in the future, here's what I did: when I knocked out the old upper bushing, there was quite a bit of corrosion evident and part of the bell housing came out with the bushing, so I mixed up some JB Weld and smeared it on good and then pressed in the new bushing. There was still plenty of "meat" left on the bell housing so it held well. Everything went back together smoothly from there.
