Instrument panel is dead.
I have a chevy astro van 2002. I left the window open and the power mirror switches got wet. When I woke up in the morning the mirrors were moving back and forth on their own. I disconnected the battery and charged it. When everything dried I noticed that the instrument panel was dead.
The fuel, speedometer, temp and oil pressure gauge were not working. All the fuses look good. I don?t know where to go from here. Help is greatly appreciated
thanks

most vehicles have a small PC board in the dash that drops the voltage down for the gauges (voltage regulator), you could have fried that.

Does your key fob remote still work?

There may be more than one fuse block. Did you check your owners manual for all of the locations?

I really doubt it has anything to do with a voltage regulator fried. All the signals that control the gauges come from a control module. The same control module may also be the one that controls the door locks which is why I asked about the FOB. Really need to find someone who has the factory service manual for your vehicle...which is also why I always buy one when I buy a vehicle.
