I have a 1995 or so 4 winns with a 351 and and a DPS.
The Ford is a sweet engine and the drive is great thanks to following a lot of the advice given on this board.
The instrument panel on the boat is getting strange.
From time to time the tach and tilt gauge go off range for no reason.
Can't find any loose connections or bad grounds.
I have read that the VDO supplied panels on these boats are problematic and the available rebuilt ones are not very reliable.
So, what are my options here.
I'm tempted to build my own panel using individual gauges.
A nice engine turned panel would look good but is a lot of work.
How about some advice on my options here?
