insulating and securing wiring harness

Just re-installed rebuilt powerhead on my 96 112 spl.
Im asking are there any tricks to insulating and securing wiring harness?
I kick myself for no taking picture of wiring. I know under cover, wires will be subject to temps and vibration. I've cleaned and elec greased all plugs.
