Intake manifold ????

1993 Merc 4.3LX with full closed system. The Fel-pro intake manifold gasket that Edelbrock suggests to use with the aluminum Edelbrock #2111 performer does not have cut outs for the passage that goes under the carb. This gasket blocks it off on both heads. Will this do any harm if it is blocked off ?? It looks like it is used to heat the choke. <br /> Thank You

If you have a MECHANICAL CHOKE you NEED the holes. <br /><br />If you have an ELECTRIC CHOKE you DO NOT need the holes.
