Interlux Brightside Spraying...is this orange peel or something else?

I'm spraying my boat with Interlux Brightside, and I can't quite get a mirror finish. From 4 feet away it looks pretty good, but up close I can see a wavy or kinda frosted-glass like effect in the reflection. It's smooth to the touch, but I was wondering if this is still orange peel that I can't feel or see on the surface (the way I can when gelcoat is sprayed), or what I've read called "urethane peel"? The effect is almost unnoticeable when I look down the edge, but increases as my eye moves more perpendicular to the surface.

If it helps, I'm using a conventional siphon gun, 1.8mm tip, 55-60psi at the gun. I've tried 10% and 15% thinning, but still get this effect. I've also sanded back down with 400 wet, then again with 600 wet.

how did you prep the surface? do you know what the priginal surface was?

The original surface was Brightside that I put on (with roll/tip) about 7 years ago. I sanded everything down to the original gelcoat/previous primer, then added a few coats of primer, sanding in-between coats as Interlux recommends on their instructions. I believe I used 220grit after the final coat of primer and before the first layer of topcoat. I wiped it down with acetone to get most of the sanding dust off, and then again just before spraying with Interlux's 333 solvent.

No expert but just found that 333 is for brush applications, should use 216 when spraying

Thanks. And yeah, the instructions I have say wipe it down with 333, but put 216 into the paint. I also read of someone who put 333 into their paint when spraying and got better results. So maybe I'll try that
