Hello,
I have a 2003 Four Winns Freedom 180. A few weeks ago I had intermittent starting issues and traced the issue to a bad slave solenoid. Only clicking or nothing at all when turning on ignition. Voltage showed it needed to be replaced. Issue appeared to be fixed after replacing and running in storage. Fired up better than ever many times. This morning I head to the lake and boat started fine. I let it run a bit before leaving and did a few stop/starts. Was ready to pull the trailer out and did one more start stop and nothing. Sometimes I will get the buzz and only certain gauges would respond. At one point blower would not even work. Sometimes fuel and battery other times no battery or buzz and sometimes completely nothing at all. Trim is working, nothing at all from the engine. Got the boat back to storage 3 miles away turn the key and everything lights up like normal with the buzz and blower working and radio. Didn't attempt to turn it over.
I am thinking maybe ignition switch but then why is blower working intermittently? Battery was new at beginning of last season. I was on the water 20+ times last season and never had a single issue.
Any ideas?
