I have this strange issue where sometimes I turn the key to start and nothing more than the beeping happens. I try it several times and nothing. Then all of a sudden it works? I think just before it works I hear a motor running in the engine compartment, like a small electric motor, or something electronic buzzing.
Once it starts for the day, it will keep starting all day usually. I may go try it the next day or 3 days later and it's fine. The day after that it doesn't start again.
Very often I have to hold the key in the on position for like 5-6 seconds then I get the starter turning and it fires right up. It has me baffled, is there an electronic module that has to fire up before it will start?
