I am getting a audible warning alarm on my 1997 Mariner 150 HP outboard. In an 1 1/2 hours of running it came on twice while I was running through waves from another boat. Once I shut the motor off, and restarted the alarm went away. Is there any way of telling what the alarm means? This motor has a oil injector unit on the motor that is full and I filled the seperate oil tank also.
Thanks.

Joel

The small oil tank on the motor has be completely full, even into the neck. Next time you run your motor, crack the cap on that tank until oil comes out, then snug the cap. Do this at the dock or on the trailer at idle.
