MD# VE70TLESB<br />SER# G02515583<br />I found out that this motor is a 1990 model is this true? Its a 70hp Evinrude and my internal wiring harness got burned up, i have another motor that looks like the one i have but dont know year model, can anybody help tell me what year it is?<br />MD# 1408836<br />SER# J0001707<br />I wanted to use this wiring harness but its diffrent so i need a wiring diagram for my motors. I didnt wont to buy a book on this motor and my local library dosn't have any repiar manuals, can anybody send me a picture of a wiring diagram for my motors? Please help

You are right on the first engine, it is a 1990 model.<br /><br />As far as your other engine, as close as I can tell it is a 1978 140HP engine.<br />140883 140 1978 <br />There was no 3 on the end of your second set of numbers that I could find and that is the closest to it.<br />Don't know if the wiring harness would be the same on both engines, but I doubt that they are.<br />Hope this helps.
