I have a 2002 Chris Craft Launch 28. It does not have Captains Call exhaust. My exhaust runs through two large wet exhausts and out the port and starboard aft.
Last night, I heard what sounds like a clanking or pinging noise coming from the starboard side. Thinking it was my outdrive, I got in the engine compartment and listened, then i stuck my head over the side and heard it coming from the exhaust. I only hear this noise in neutral. As soon and I put it in to gear, the noise goes away. Any ideas of what that is? Anyone else have this same boat or same issue?
