Internet onboard....

Hi there, 1st post.

I have a welcraft excell and I have my laptop with internet when i am onbaord. what sites would you recommend to ger real time weather data or other important information live while i am out. or any usefull programs that i shoudl carry with me ?

If I had the luxury of a roaming internet connection, I'd use something like http://www.wunderground.com/MAR/. I especially like their animated RADAR ("Wundermap"). Easy to use, high res, and best of all it automatically updates, so no need to do a page refresh. (my area: http://www.wunderground.com/wunderm...=0&svr=0&cams=0&sat=0&riv=0&mm=0&hur=0&fire=0)

I don't believe this is "real time", but very helpful nonetheless. I use it whenever planning any trips to the bay: http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/ . Just select the area you are in to get the information you need.
